Egg Art

My daughter, Remy, created some incredible Easter egg art this year. Wish I hadn’t hard boiled these eggs to begin with because these were all keepers. Buckets of egg dye and tubes and tubes of glitter glue later, she’d meticulously hand-crafted these masterpieces of genuine egg art.

Cut to my son, Bo, only four-months old and he’s already giving me that look of, “Mom, we’ve really got to talk about this outfit you’ve paraded me around in…”

Winter Engagement Photos in Vermont

Andrea and Jason dreamed of the perfect snowy Vermont engagement session, but February proved to be unpredictable. One day it was 60 degrees with no snow and the next it was a freezing blizzard.

Just a couple days before our February photo shoot we had one of the heaviest snowfalls and I went and scoped out a last-minute tree tunnel location idea. It proved to be a magical winter wonderland setting. We also wanted to capture Vermont’s rustic winter beauty so we went to two other locations as well: A Williston barn with an American flag painted on it and Isham Family Farm which is an amazing location complete with Christmas trees, a barn and a maple sugar house .

Bart, their sweet Bull Terrier, came along for a walk on the farm. He was endlessly happy eating snow and found the most enormous branch to haul back down the hill. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day and Andrea and Jason couldn’t have been a more photogenic, fun couple.

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes, VT, this fall!

Equally Wed Publishes Lisa and Katy’s Magical Vermont Elopement

I’m so thrilled that Equally Wed published Lisa and Katy’s wedding photos from their Vermont elopement at Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes, VT.  Basin Harbor puts on the most beautiful elopements with so many options for ceremony locations. Not only did Lisa and Katy get the most incredible burst of evening light that shone down over their ceremony, but there was a truly magical force over their entire elopement that began when they found a handful of symbolic dimes.
