It was extremely exciting to see Laura and Patrick’s Basin Harbor Club wedding published in Vermont Bride Magazine for the Winter/Fall 2017 issue. Jen and Scott had an incredible wedding at The Skinner Barn in Waitsfield, Vermont. The rain held off the entire day and they even got a stunning evening sky. They could not have picked a better venue for their wedding. This rustic red barn setting blended perfectly with their handcrafted details like their woodburned state of Vermont table markers and their flower-filled sap buckets. Their sweet dog, Quigley, even joined in during the ceremony. And nothing could top Scott’s reaction to seeing Jen for the first time (of course Jen nailing Scott in the face with the cake was a close contender). Congratulations Jen and Scott! Thanks for letting me be a part of your amazing day!
The process of editing down all of my wedding photojournalism to revamp my wedding photography website took some serious time. And my creative journey followed the same path as every other project I’ve ever embarked on: It started out on a table and finished up on a floor.
I drive by this camel everyday in North Ferrisburgh in front of the collapsed round barn and he always turns my head–especially in lighting like this.
