Mackenzie and Mark’s wedding at Isham Family Farm in Williston, Vermont, was gorgeous. The bride and her bridesmaids arrived by hay ride to the ceremony site, which had the most outstanding view. I loved draping the wedding party on the red tractor for group shots after the ceremony. Mackenzie looked absolutely stunning and I couldn’t stop capturing the rustic details of this wedding–everything from the flowers to the vintage glass vases was perfectly executed and could not have been better suited for the 1850’s carriage barn reception site. Congratulations Mackenzie and Mark, thank you so much for having me capture your spectacular day!

Laura and Patrick’s wedding day weather was filled with unpredictable downpours. I love how thunderstorms are both exciting and cozy. It changed their plans for an outdoor ceremony, but it created the perfect lighting for photos once the rain died down. The bride could not have been more beautiful and their ceremony could not have been more special, much because Laura’s father married them. I had a fantastic time arranging some creative photos of their large wedding party. And the way they wrapped up their night certainly sparked a photographic flame in me. I’ve seen sparklers at weddings, but they created a huge sparkler tunnel that the couple walked through. It was absolutely stunning and quite a sendoff. Congratulations, Laura and Patrick, I loved capturing your day!
At every wedding I do my best to not draw any attention to myself during the ceremony, but Colin and Jeremy’s ceremony had me fluctuating between laughing-out-loud to noticeable tearing-up. Luckily, their guests were too busy doing the same to unlock their eyes from anything but the grooms. Everything about their day was perfect from the weather to the cake-toppers to zipping around on golf carts to dancing lakeside under the tent. It really did feel like a wedding right out of the movie “Dirty Dancing,” and these are all the reasons I love shooting at the Basin Harbor Club. Thank you so much, Colin and Jeremy, for having me capture your magical day!
Meg and Jordan met on a blind date. Jordan said it was love at first sight for him after the bride ordered a double bacon cheeseburger on their first date and sealed it with a high-five. Their gorgeous barn wedding was at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT, and was filled with sweeping Vermont views and amazing farm-to-table food and VT cheese. Thank you so much, Meg and Jordan, for having me capture your incredible day!

Jeremy & Colin’s Engagement Photos
I had the best time shooting Jeremy and Colin’s engagement photos. We started out in Vergennes, VT, at 3 Squares Cafe and meandered our way through downtown Vergennes before driving to Basin Harbor Club for the majority of their shoot. It was so interesting to see the bones of Basin Harbor Club’s 125 year old vine without any leaves. Soon this vine will become a gorgeous veil of green leaves and bloom but I loved to see the knuckles of its knotted roots. We had the most peaceful evening by Lake Champlain which had a glassy calmness to it. Jeremy and Colin were so much fun to hang out with and so easy to photograph– I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!
